The manufacture, storage, supply and use of medical gases in the Hospital, DPC and Clinic comply with all relevant statutory requirements, including but not limited to those stipulated under the following Ordinances –

(a) Dangerous Goods Ordinance (Cap. 295);

(b) Fire Services Ordinance (Cap. 95);

(c) Electricity Ordinance (Cap. 406); and

(d) Boilers and Pressure Vessels Ordinance (Cap. 56).

 

The MGPS are designed, installed, operated and maintained to ensure a safe and reliable provision of medical gases in respect of quantity, identity, continuity and quality of supply to the nurses and clinical staff at the point-of-use.

MDD has a professional engineering team for audit and consultation service on design, installation and maintenance.
